Apparently it will not have a campaign in the traditional sense according to the game's description at WalMart and Amazon. The game will feature Spec Ops missions and multiplayer for its 50 Dollar price tag.
Maybe we will be proven wrong in the end but this is, to the best of our knowledge, will be the game.

We posted the rumor yesterday and sure enough, Activision confirmed the third add on MAP Pack for Call of Duty Black Ops this morning.

Well, it looks as though a new Black Ops DLC Map Pack is on it's way. Today a picture of a Game Stop Flyer leaked via Black Ops 24/7 who posted the image which looks pretty legit to us.
According to the leaked image the new DLC pack will include the typical 4 new multiplayer maps as well as a new zombie mode area.

The first map is called "Dead Ops Arcade" and puts up to four players in a pursuit of the Cosmic Silverback; tracking him through a gauntlet of arenas filled with traps, treasure and waves of flesh-hungry zombies.
The second map,"Five", features four significant real-life figures from the Cold War era: John F. Kennedy, Robert McNamara, Fidel Castrol and Richard Nixon. They are all meeting in the Pentagon when zombies break in and start attacking.

We knew Activision and TreArch's Call of Duty Black Ops would sell gangbusters but I think many were a bit surpised when it beat Modern Warfare 2's sales record for 'Day One Sales'.
Activision has now reported that Black Ops sold well over half a billion Dollars worth in 5 days. Worldwide Gross Sales have reached 650 Million dollars which beats Modern Warfare 2's 550 Million last year in the same period.
In addition, according to Microsoft, the game has had logged over 5.9 Million multiplayer hours on its first day on Xbox LIVE and counted 2.6 Million unique users. Both of those statistics are new Xbox LIVE records.

According to a tweet by industry insider and host of GTTV Geoff Keighley, Call of Duty Black Ops outsold Modern Warfare 2. Day one sales that is, while MW2 sold 310 MM USD on day one last year, Black Ops managed to increase that by 16 percent by selling 360 MM.

Call of Duty Black Ops will release on November 9th this year. That was all we knew since this morning's press release. Now we have seen the world premier trailer on GTTV and it shows what seems to be a Vietnam setting and some serious prototype weaponry.
Featured in the trailer is an astronaut in a space suit and what appears to be SR-71 Blackbird while the trailer also shows a high tech lab with scientists narrating.
