GoldenEye 007: Reloaded has just been made available by Activision as a PS3 downloadable game on the PlayStation Network. While we at onPause are all for digital distribution, I have to say that the one thing that's not so great about this news post is the price.
As of this writing the game is still 60 Dollars, not exactly what we expected. Nonetheless, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is a good game and can now be enjoyed without giving GameStop a penny, that's a pretty good thing.
The development team around Dylan Jobe, LightBox President and CEO, has been working around the clock, literally, to finish the work on the highly anticipated Warhawk sequel - Starhawk.

Well, sometimes we get this itch to play old games, but we don't want to go back to the polygon count of an N64 or worse. That is why we get HD remakes or equivalents.
Tomorrow we get to add to our list with Choplifter HD and of course it has zombies, well not now but in FREE future DLC. The game hits PSN this Tuesday for 15 bucks.

Evolution Studios, the creators of the PS3 exclusive series MotorStorm, are ready to branch out. Today Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog that Evolution is working on a new game called MotorStorm RC.
Now you may say, why would I want to play that? I can tell you why, because MotorStorm lends itself perfectly to miniaturized off road racing ala IronMan Offroad Racing which we all fondly remember, unless you are a baby and Halo was your first game, EVAR!
Anyway, MotorStorm RC will be a crossplatform title that can be played on the PS3 and the PlayStation Vita as a PSN Downloadable game. The game will feature 16 unique tracks in 4 locations and sport 4 player split/screen on PS3.
Expect MotorStorm RC to be available on or sometime after the Vita launch.

Recoil Game’s Rochard, recently released on the PlayStation Network and it is a damn find game (Review forthcoming). Recoil has released a 'Making of Rochard' Video in which the developer talks about what went into the creating the title and using the unity tools.
Eufloria is another artistic take on modern indie games which have been embraced on the PSN. Similar to Flower and PixelJunk Eden, Eufloria captures an incredibly unique essence and is presented very well.
In Eufloria players will spend a lot of time sending its 'seedlings' out in the world, which have unique abilities, to capture planets and battle an enemy AI trying to do the same thing to the player. Eufloria becomes increasingly challenging and requires a lot of commitment and patience as this is an RTS at heart. Eufloria can seem like a casual title at first glance but believe me, it is a rather long and intricate game for a downloadable title.
The game struggles a bit with the controls via a traditional controller but certainly makes it fun for players to methodically take over each map or area.
onPause verdict: Buy It! - Eufloria continues the excellent efforts of Sony to give indie developers a voice and provides and overall good experience.

PRESS RELEASE:
SONY ONLINE ENTERTAINMENT'S PAYDAY™: THE HEIST TAKES THE PLAYSTATION®NETWORK HOSTAGE ON OCTOBER 18th
SAN DIEGO - Oct. 13, 2011 - Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) today announced that its high-intensity, squad-based, first-person shooter PAYDAY™: The Heist is scheduled to be available on Oct. 18 via digital download on the PlayStation®Network. In PAYDAY: The Heist, players take on the role of a hardened career criminal and engage in a number of high-stakes, death defying heists in a never-ending pursuit of the next "big score."
This online co-op shooter game features six dynamic heists based in a variety of urban settings that demand quick thinking, strategy, and above all else, teamwork. Each scenario makes FPS fans prove their worth -- a heist is only successful with a solid trigger finger and cooperative team defenses. Players must survive constant pursuit of ever increasing numbers of law enforcement and its adaptive police tactics that allow them to continuously shift their strategies based on player actions. Players must work together to accomplish strategic tasks such as guarding key positions, keeping civilians in check, and cracking through various security measures.
KEY FEATURES
Six High-Intensity Heists: Whether you're blowing the roof off a building to extract a safe via helicopter or emptying the vault at the First World Bank, these action-packed heists will have players on edge and always checking their six.
Interactive Co-op Gameplay: Whether AI or live, your crew of four must operate as one to bring in the "big score." Sharing extra ammo and med kits, helping regenerate wounded partners, guarding key positions, taking civilian hostages or cracking through various security measures - it's all for one and one for all.
Endless Replayability: Dynamic environments, adaptive enemy behavior, shifting entry points, FBI agents repelling through skylights on ropes, SWAT teams crashing through the windows and special units crawling through the ventilation shafts makes each play-through of every heist a unique fight.
Massive Character Progression Tree: Players choose a specialty -- assault, sharpshooter or support -- to gain weapons and equipment that fit their preferred form of violence. Unlock trip mines, silenced pistols, machine guns and much, much more.
Shout-Out Button: Players need to be vocal and shout commands and directions to the co-op crew, as well as hostages and the police if they want to survive to spend their cut of the take.
Hostage Trading: Hostages can be used as lifelines. If anyone in the crew is taken into custody, trade hostages to get crewmembers back and increase the odds of completing your objectives.
PlayStation®3 system or PC*: For keyboard and mouse marksman, as well as handheld controller snipers, PAYDAY is the uber-FPS for a high intensity shooter fix. *PC release date to be announced.
More DLC: Additional heists, weapons and equipment means PAYDAY -- a digitally distributed AAA quality title for less than half the price of a retail game -- is total OVERKILL.
PAYDAY: The Heist is scheduled to be available in North America on Oct. 18 for $19.99 USD via digital download on the PlayStation®Network. Dates for release of PAYDAY The Heist on the PlayStation®Network for European territories, as well as for the PC in both North America and Europe have yet to be announced.

Electronic Arts have revealed that on October 18th they will be releasing a demo for Need for Speed: The Run that features the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, and takes place in the desert.
They did not reveal what consoles the demo will be on, but my guess would be the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and most likely the PC as well.
