You remember that time when we were playing Dead Space and that big ugly monster with tentacles jumped out at us and you freaked out then crapped yourself? No? Well, I do and it was amazing! And stinky…

EA has just released a shiny new launch trailer for the upcoming space horror game; Dead Space 2. Check it out below! Dead Space 2 releases on the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 January 25th.

Are you ready once again to poop your pants but have an amazing time doing it? Dead Space 2 demo is now available on the Xbox 360 Marketplace at a file size of 1.2 GB. Download the demo here.

According to our friends over at EA Visceral - more specifically their Twitter account - we can expect a necromorph filled single player demo this month.

The demo will be made available worldwide on Xbox 360 and US PS3 on December 21st while Europe has to wait a day on the Playstation platform until 12/22.

Are you excited? We are. Also - check out the latest trailer.

The Examiner has posyed an image of a leaked and not yet confirmed Dead Space 2 Limited Edition.

The LE will included a full sized replica of the plasma cutter, a DLC token, Soundtrack CD and artwork. The listing was found on Amazon and has since been removed. EA has yet to comment.

Small downloadable games seem to become the norm these days and this trend continues with the Dead Space franchise. Dead Space Ignition is a mini game based story bridge between Dead Space 1 and 2 which releases in January 2011.

The game will be ready for download on October 12th on PSN and the following Wednesday on XBLA. Pre-Orders will receive the game for free while you'll have to pay 5 USD or 400 MSP if you did not throw down your cash yet, which you should. It's Dead Space!

Dead Space 2 is not due to release until early 2011 but EA is already gearing up for the recently revealed multiplayer by sending out Closed Beta Invites to select Playstation Network users.

In addition to the announcement EA also revealed that on September 26, from 8:00 PM PST to 10:00 PM PST the development team will join the multiplayer fun according to emails sent out to users this evening.

Dead Space 2 is set to release on January 25th for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The Dead Space 2 Cooperative Multiplayer was revealed tonight on Spike TV's Gametrailers TV. The mode is a 4 player cooperative event type which has 4 'Isaac's' and 4 players as Necromorphes competing in a mission based structure which reminds an awful lot of Left 4 Dead. The humans have to retrieve an item in the level and complete a cycle on the work bench before time runs out or they die.

Check out the trailer below. We will update the trailer as soon as EA sends it out to us.
