In order to wet your taste buds some more the publisher sent along another video, this time it is the Auto Club Speedway, site of this weekend’s Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 400.

Activision's Nascar The Game 2011 is just under two weeks out from release and quick on the heels of the Nascar Sprint Cup that started only a few weeks ago. Today Activision re leaved a new developer diary about the game's damage and wreck simulation. Enjoy the ride.

The beginning of the upcoming NASCAR season is approaching quickly and Activision has released a new developer diary for the licensed game which will drop on the same week the drivers head to Daytona. Have a look at the latest video below.

Activision and Eutechnyx’s sent us a quick Christmas gift for their upcoming title NASCAR The Game 2011. The title will feature the full Nascar license and drop February 2011 just in time for the Daytona 500.

The developers talk about the level of detail that was included to recreate a full 43 driver field and get it working. Check out the latest developer diary below.

Well, then Nascar The Game 2011 is your thing. Activision's racer will be dropping into the pits (your living room) for a 4 tire change and top off early 2011 but for now we bring you the first 22 drivers and their cars.

EA's last NASCAR racing entry from 2009 did not make incredibly big splashes with fans or critics and the publisher since dropped the license. Eutechnyx has since picked up the rights and build a new game from the ground up. The Activision published title will hit in time for the Daytona 500 in February 2011.

Ativision today announced that a new NASCAR game will hit the digital race tracks in February of next year and here are some screens of the game they passed along.

It has been quite a while since we had a solid NASCAR game. I am thinking back to the PC releases from the early 2000s. It seems that Activision and developer Eutechnyx agreed with me on this and announced a new NASCAR licensed game called 'NASCAR The Game 2011'. I think the title could have been improved upon but Activision claims that the actual game will be good.

NASCAR The Game 2011 has been built from the ground up to make a thoroughly new experience. The team started by speaking with the people who know NASCAR best - the fans - and took that insight to the teams, drivers and officials to completely embrace what makes NASCAR America's #1 motorsport.

Players will be able to create their own driver or choose from the officially licensed drivers whose AI will act as their real life counterparts on the tracks. Activision and Eutechnyx stated that they have been working with fans and NASCAR to ensure authenticity.

The game will also include a 16 player online mode allowing you to trade paint with other players on the '22 real world tracks' and utlizing pit stop strategies.

NASCAR The Game 2011 is slated for a February 2011 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Just in time for the start of the season in Daytona.
