Ever since the introduction of the PSP Go we have been screaming for a way to transfer our UMD based games on the digital-only platform which is the PSP Go and will be the PS Vita.

Sony Japan has finally come up with a solution which does involve some cost though. Sony is releasing a UMD Passport application on December 6th, in Japan only for now where the Vita will launch next month, where owners can re-purchase the digital version of the game at a small fee.

This means there is hope after all, no details on the North American market as of yet.
