Codemasters signs a new multi-year contract with FIA

Today Codemasters revealed that it has signed a new multi-year deal with Formula 1 and the FIA. This secures the developer the license to make more F1 games in the coming years.

Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One group CEO, said: "Codemasters has created some of the best and most successful FORMULA ONE games to date. We and the teams work closely with them and look forward to creating more award winning games together in the future."

Later this spring Codies will bring F1 to the PC as an online experience and also plans to create more Formula 1 titles on additional platforms.

    Very sad news indeed.
    This annual arcade rip off from CM seems set to continue.

    rfactor 2 is our only hope for an accurate racing sim.
