After much rumor and speculation about Capcom's full numbered sequel in the Resident Evil series, the publisher has finally made it official. In a press release Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil 6 will release on November 20th this year and launch on PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version of the game is supposed to follow.

Resident Evil 6 will be a blend between action and horror. The game will be loaded with bombshells as it includes Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield together for the same time ever.

Resident Evil 6 takes place 10 years after the 'Raccoon City incident' as Leon has to make some questionable decisions about his President and Chris will travel to China which is under a bio-terrorist attack as is the United States.

The game has already received a trailer on the Resident Evil Portal which shows cinematic as well as gameplay.
