Assassin's Creed 3 is a thing and will come to stores on October 30th of this year if Ubisoft head honcho Yves Guillemot is to be believed on the company's latest investor call.

"Assassin's Creed 3 is the true next generation of both the Assassin's Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general," Guillemot stated on the call.

We don't know much else about the next 'true' entry into the franchise other than that it has been in development for 3 years.
