Dead Island was the classic example of a mid-level budget game that found an audience and became a sleeper hit among the hardcore and casual gamers alike.

Deep Silver and Techland have teamed up again to bring us a sequel to the zombie slashing paradise title we have come to know and love in 'Riptide'.

According to the latest information a new playable character will join the crew and Riptide will have new zombies, dynamic weather and a flooded island which will bring lots of new gameplay mechanics.
