Many of you probably remember when EA and Insomniac announced the stealth based 4 player co-op shooter Overstrike last year at E3 with cinematic reveal trailer and the whole spiel. Well, since then we haven’t heard anything – at all.

Today EA revealed that the game has been renamed to Fuse and while it remains a 4 player co-op shooter, it has ditched its stealthy approach for a more action based style along with new alien-tech based weapons and a setting change.

The game is now slated for a March 2013 release on Xbox 360 and PS3 - this is the studios first multiplatform release.
