Sorry for the grainy image. But, this image was snapped at the Bungie booth at PAX08. So what is Halo 3 Mythic? Basically, it is the rumored game that Bungie is working on. The Achievements have been leaked at The Ascendant Justice Forums and it looks like a Separate multi-player disc release. Possibly for the Special edition of the game they are working on related to the superintendent on the Bungie site during e32008. Bungie has already tried to squash this rumor already with Bungie's Brian Jarrard.He explained "the Mythic picture was taken prior to the PAX kickoff and wasn't meant for public consumption." Jarrad then said " The Mythic screen is really not that exciting and has gotten kind of blown out of proportion."
With this leak of achievements you can bet that this Halo 3 Mythic has to do with all the map packs released. Plus the Rumored Mythic map pack that would contain the Assembly map shown and playable at PAX08. Does this have any relation to the new game they are working on or this is the game they are working on? We don't know. But, with all the evidence adding up.
